Work Access Permit: All persons heading to work under the lockdown conditions must have obtained a Work Access Permit issued by the police.

The Financial Services Commission (FSC):
- remains available to interact with licensees via email
- will show flexibility regarding any difficulty linked to reporting obligations and regulatory filings

The Registrar of Companies (RoC) and Mauritius Network Services (MNS) will maintain all online facilities and remains available for queries
The Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA):
- has set in place a wage assistance scheme for employers
- will not be charging any penalty or interest for late submission of returns/payment
- has removed VAT from hand sanitisers and protective masks

Cabinet decisions to help stabilise the economy at this time include:
- various schemes and funds made available to businesses through the State Investment Corporation (SIC), the Investment Support Programme Ltd, SME Equity Fund Ltd, Development Bank of Mauritius
- a double tax deduction on investment in Plant and Machinery
- work permits expiring in 2020 automatically renewed to 31 Dec 2021
- passenger air fee suspended for tourists from Reunion Island, Australia and South Africa up to 31 July 2020
- catering for payment of wages of employees in quarantine
